#92 What is a sacrament?
A Sacrament is a holy ordinance given by Christ in
which by sensible signs, Christ, and the benefits of
the new covenant are represented, sealed, and
applied to believers
# 96 What is the Lord’s Supper?
The Lord’s Supper is a sacrament commanded by
Christ in which by giving and receiving bread and
wine, His death is proclaimed. Worthy receivers do
not take Christ’s body and blood in a carnal way but
receive them by faith, along with His benefits, being
spiritually fed and growing in grace.
# 97 What is required for the worthy receiving of
the Lord’s Supper?
To worthily participate in the Lord’s Supperr, we
should examine our knowledge whether we discern
the Lord’s body; whether we have faith to feed upon
Him; whether we have repentance, love, and new
obedience; so that we do not come unworthily and eat and drink judgement on ourselves

Prayer Concerns:
Terri is having some health problems,
please pray for her, and for Vance.
Pray for Yvonne's PT to continue well.
Walt is home with PT. Please keep
praying for his recovery.
Remember Frankie and Laura Leigh.
Terry and Francine are asking that we pray
for them to find a house.
Pray for the search for a summer intern.
Pray for the sale of the Manse.
Announcements:
There is a sign up sheet in the foyer for
Sunday School. Please prayerfully consider
how you may serve in this Sunday School
term.
The Missions Committee is taking up supplies
for the victims of Hurricane Helene in Greene
Co. There is a list of items needed on the
table. Over the next couple of weeks, please
bring what you can and we will schedule a trip
as soon as possible.
On February 9th, we will have our annual
“Souper” Bowl game day right after church.
There is a sign up sheet on the table for what
food and games you’d like to bring
