*The Corporate Call to Worship From Psalm 25
Unto You, O LORD, do we lift up our souls. O Lord God, in You
do we trust; let us not be put to shame; let our enemies not boast
over us . . . Make us to know Your ways, O LORD; teach us Your paths.
Lead us in Your truth and teach us, for You are the God of our salvation;
for You we wait all the day long.
*Let Us Sing Fairest Lord Jesus No. 88
Scripture Reading LAMEDH Psalm 119:89--96
(Pew Bible, p. 609)
Let us, in silence, confess our sins to Almighty
The Assurance of Pardon Meditation on the Cross D. S. O’Donnell
He turned away the wrath of God against our iniquities.
He made an atoning sacrifice for our guilt.
He canceled our debt and forgave our sins.
He became sin so that we might be sinless in God’s sight.
He reconciled all things to himself, making peace.
He presented us holy, blameless, and above reproach.
He gave us access in one Spirit to the Father.
He triumphed over all evil rulers and authorities.
He made us alive so that we might die to sin and live for him.
*Let Us Sing He Will Hold Me Fast (Sing! Hymnal, p. 598)
The Pastoral Prayer Pastor Wes
The Preaching of God’s Word “The Two Eternal Laws” Romans 8:1-4
(Pew Bible, p. 1122)
*Let Us Respond in Song Love Lifted Me No. 505
*God’s Word of Blessing Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our
Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal
covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will,
working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ,
to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
