Father, we come to You as we leave one year behind and step into
another. Remind our hearts that You go before us and that You are with us.
Grant that we would not worry ourselves over the instability of the world,
but let us entrust our lives and our loved ones into Your care and providence.
Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and let us draw near to You by faith, that we
would serve You cheerfully, and love our neighbors as ourselves. In each
life gathered here today – be glorified. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
