Our History
Christ Presbyterian Church is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). CPC was formed on February 18, 1996 when two local congregations, Alta Vista Presbyterian and Sweetwater Valley Presbyterian, merged to form a new congregation, Christ Presbyterian Church. Since that time, we have sought to be a witness to the grace of God in Jesus Christ and to serve the people of Sweetwater and greater Monroe County of East Tennessee.
Our Mission
Christ Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God by being disciples who are making disciples -growing in grace, in word and deed– here, near and far.
Our Denomination
